Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal indoor air quality and comfort across various properties. Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will drive your success in delivering top-tier service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in service and maintenance of HVAC systems, troubleshooting units, recommending repairs or system replacements. We offer quarterly performance reviews and bonuses based on performance. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ductless systems, VRF systems, VAV systems, pneumatic controls, and ventilation systems. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, VAV boxes, boilers, chillers, air handlers Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately service complex systems. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and pumps Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, incident logs, and equipment maintenance documentation. Be able to sell maintenance contracts, unit replacements, and repairs to new and existing customers (Office will support you) Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all service activities. Assist with HVAC system design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or property requirements. Operate a vehicle safely for field service visits across multiple locations. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in construction environments. (3-5 years) Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance in commercial or residential settings. Familiarity with schematics interpretation, HVAC design principles, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of different types of commercial HVAC systems is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge covering maintenance, repair of HVAC units, chillers and boilers Field service experience involving equipment repair on-site with minimal supervision. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as volt meter effectively for troubleshooting electrical components. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a vehicle preferred.
