Job Description

Job Summary We have a couple of guys now but there is a big language barrier that makes it difficult so if you speak fluent English and Spanish, that would be awesome! We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across diverse property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal comfort, safety, and efficiency for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to property maintenance excellence. A strong foundation in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and field service experience will set you up for success. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment (including ammonia refrigeration), and other mechanical systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards. Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems and assist with appliance repair or property maintenance tasks as needed. Utilize testing tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues within HVAC equipment; perform welding or equipment repair when necessary. Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service visits; maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC/R system upgrades or installations; ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems with a strong background in mechanical knowledge. Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or property maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), and boiler operations. Demonstrated ability to perform equipment repair using tools such as ohmmeters; welding experience is a plus. Prior field service experience working on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, or appliance repairs. Knowledge of property maintenance practices including plumbing and general mechanical troubleshooting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating specialized equipment like welders or boiler systems is advantageous.
