Job Description

Residential HVAC Service Technician Aced It! Cooling & Heating — Corona, CA If you're a strong residential HVAC service tech, you already know the difference between selling and serving. The best techs don't pressure homeowners. They diagnose properly, communicate clearly, build trust, present real options, and help customers make confident decisions. That's what we're looking for. Aced It! Cooling & Heating is hiring experienced residential HVAC service technicians who can diagnose, communicate, educate, and produce at a high level. We care about revenue, but we care even more about how that revenue is created. If you create revenue by being thorough, honest, sharp, and trusted, you can do very well here. If you rely on scare tactics, exaggeration, or pressure, this is not the place for you.
Who We Are:
Aced It! Cooling & Heating was founded by service technicians who were tired of seeing homeowners get pressured into decisions they didn't fully understand. We believe in honest diagnostics, strong communication, clean workmanship, and giving customers real options. But let's be clear: this is not a place for average performers. We're building a team of top-level technicians who want to grow technically, professionally, and financially.
What We Expect:
You should be able to: — Diagnose residential HVAC systems properly — Communicate clearly with homeowners — Build trust without pressure or scare tactics — Present repair, maintenance, upgrade, and replacement options — Recommend memberships and IAQ/comfort solutions when appropriate — Follow a structured service process — Document calls with photos, readings, and detailed notes — Hit performance goals without compromising integrity — Take coaching, training, and accountability seriously — Represent the company professionally in the home Pay & Compensation We are willing to compensate top talent. This position is built around performance, not just clocking in and out. Strong technicians typically earn based on the revenue they help generate through repairs, maintenance, upgrades, IAQ solutions, and system replacements. As a general target, top-performing technicians commonly earn around 12%-15% of their total generated revenue through a combination of hourly pay and performance-based incentives. That does not mean we want pressure salesmen. It means we reward technicians who are thorough, trusted, organized, and able to educate homeowners properly. If you can diagnose correctly, communicate clearly, present real options, and help customers make confident decisions, you can make great money here. What's In It for
