Job Description

Job Title:
HVAC Installer Job Description Install, replace, and upgrade residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems. Work with both gas-fired and electric HVAC equipment. Perform system start-ups, testing, and final inspections to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and manufacturer specifications. Responsibilities Install, replace, and upgrade residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems. Work with both gas-fired and electric HVAC equipment. Perform system start-ups, testing, and final inspections to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and manufacturer specifications. Ensure installations meet local building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements. Diagnose installation-related issues and make necessary corrections. Communicate professionally with homeowners to explain system operation and maintenance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Accurately complete work orders, checklists, and required documentation. Essential Skills 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience. Proven experience with gas and electric HVAC systems. Strong understanding of airflow, combustion, electrical wiring, and refrigerant principles. Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas. Additional Skills & Qualifications Sheet metal expertise.
