Your Energy Solutions is a well-established energy services company based in Livermore, CA. For over 18 years, we have helped homeowners reduce energy costs and improve home efficiency through solar installations, battery storage systems, roofing, HVAC, and other energy-efficient solutions. We are seeking a skilled, proactive, and customer-focused HVAC Estimator / Tech to join our growing team. In this hybrid role, you will perform technical field work, evaluate home system needs, and prepare accurate estimates to deliver high-quality heating and cooling solutions to our clients.
Position Details Pay Rate:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Health, Dental, and Vision insurance available Key Responsibilities Estimating & Customer Service Perform on-site evaluations for residential HVAC replacements, upgrades, and new installations. Prepare clear, detailed, and accurate project proposals and material cost estimates. Communicate directly with homeowners to explain system recommendations, energy efficiency options, and project scope. Follow up consistently on pending estimates to maintain project momentum and secure new jobs. Technical & Field Operations Perform technical diagnostic troubleshooting, maintenance, and field service work as needed. Ensure all estimates and technical evaluations comply with local mechanical codes, EPA standards, and safety guidelines. Maintain detailed job notes, photos, and project updates within the company CRM system. Work closely with the Operations Manager and installation teams to ensure seamless project hand-offs.
Qualifications Experience:
3-5 years of hands-on HVAC technical field work and/or estimating experience ( Required ).
Work Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the United States ( Required ).
Certifications:
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record ( Required ); EPA Certification preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of residential HVAC systems, heat pumps, ductwork design, airflow dynamics, and home energy efficiency.
Soft Skills:
Outstanding communication, organization, and customer service skills.
