Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation. Diagnose issues accurately using diagnostic tools and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant problems. Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, valves, and ductwork with efficiency and attention to detail. Install new HVAC units in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions. Collaborate with clients to explain repairs or maintenance procedures clearly and professionally. Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards during all service activities. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role with a strong understanding of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. Valid HVAC technician certification or license as required by state or local authorities. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment used for troubleshooting HVAC systems. Knowledge of electrical wiring, refrigerant handling (EPA certification preferred), and safety protocols. Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
