Job Description
Reliable Heating and Air is hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician who's looking to join a fast-paced and values-based company. We've served the Napa Valley for almost 50 years. Through excellent reputation we've maintained wonderful customers and year-round full schedules. Our technicians are highly paid, well trained, respected and team-oriented. We hold our team to high expectations for professionalism, reliability, technical expertise and communication. If you're motivated and bring a good attitude to work with you everyday, you'll do great here. This role for a senior Service Technician. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems for our residential customers throughout the Napa Valley, with occasional commercial work mixed in. If you take pride in quality workmanship, communicate well with homeowners, and want to work for a company that respects your time and skills, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits) Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups Handle occasional light commercial service work Provide honest assessments and clear repair options to customers Accurately document work performed, parts used, and recommendations Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service truck Represent Reliable Heating and Air professionally in customers' homes What We Require 5+ years of field experience as an HVAC service technician EPA certification (Universal preferred) Clean driving record and valid driver's license Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across residential equipment brands Ability to work independently and manage a daily route of service calls Professional communication skills — you'll be the face of our company with customers Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in attics and crawl spaces, and climb ladders Comfortable using software/tablets in the field The work day starts in our office in Napa. Must be local or able to commute to Napa daily.
