Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Entry Level Helper and kickstart your career in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry! This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled technicians. You will assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems while developing your mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills. We're looking for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering top-notch comfort solutions to our clients. A perfect candidate would be able to work 3-4 days a week. Duties Support HVAC technicians in installing, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems Assist with the setup and teardown of HVAC equipment using hand tools and mechanical systems repair techniques Help troubleshoot electrical diagnostics and equipment issues by following schematics and technical instructions Participate in system inspections to identify potential problems and perform routine HVAC system maintenance Aid in plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as drainage or refrigerant lines Learn to read schematics and HVAC design plans to better understand system layouts Ensure safety protocols are followed during all tasks, including handling electrical systems and refrigerants Requirements Prior construction experience or exposure to mechanical systems is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential Basic knowledge of hand tools, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, and mechanical systems repair Ability to follow schematics and technical instructions accurately Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (including driver if applicable) Willingness to work outdoors and in confined spaces as needed Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting clients and team members EPA certification or willingness to obtain certification for handling refrigerants Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning/refrigeration) systems is a plus Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting Commitment to safety standards and ongoing learning about HVAC system repair and maintenance This role is paid from day one, offering valuable training that prepares you for a rewarding career in the HVAC industry.
