In this energetic role, you will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance while providing exceptional customer service. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults in electrical systems. Perform mechanical systems repair and HVAC system maintenance to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for system installation and repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with clients to explain system operations, maintenance procedures, and answer questions professionally. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all installations and repairs performed. Qualifications Proven construction experience combined with service technician expertise in HVAC or related mechanical fields. Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration. Experience with HVAC system repair, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting including boilers and air conditioning units. Mechanical knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and electrical diagnostics skills. Ability to operate hand tools effectively and perform equipment troubleshooting confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with driver requirements preferred. EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R are advantageous.
