Paramount, CA Job Details $25 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Equipment installation Service technician experience EPA Certification Full Job Description Reliable Energy Management, Inc. is currently seeking a detail oriented and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings. As an HVAC technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, installing, maintaining, and repairing air quality systems to ensure they operate efficiently and remain dependable over time. You'll also work closely with customers, providing expert guidance to help them choose the best HVAC solutions for their comfort, and energy efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, inspect, install, and repair HVAC systems including: Rooftop packaged units Gas/electric and heat pump split systems Ductwork, mini-splits, economizers, wall heaters VRV/VRF systems, and boilers Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot system issues Conduct warranty services and emergency repairs as needed Educate customers on proper use and care of HVAC systems Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Accurately document all work performed Work independently or as part of a team in a variety of jobsite conditions Must have 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation and service EPA Certification (Required) Valid California driver's license Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and physical exam Solid knowledge of both residential and commercial HVAC systems Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent customer service and communication skills Self-motivated, punctual, and professional Ability to work safely, efficiently, and respectfully in client homes and businesses Additional HVAC certifications are a plus
