Reliable Energy Management, Inc. is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a skilled HVAC professional who is confident working with both residential and commercial systems and has strong customer service and sales skills. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with HVAC repairs, full system replacements, change-outs, and troubleshooting. You should be comfortable speaking with customers, explaining repair and replacement options, identifying additional service opportunities, preparing estimates, and recommending solutions that meet the customer's needs.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service residential and commercial HVAC systems Perform full system replacements, change-outs, repairs, and installations Inspect HVAC systems and identify necessary repairs, maintenance, or replacement opportunities Prepare accurate estimates for repairs, replacements, and upgrades Communicate professionally with customers and explain system issues and recommended solutions Provide excellent customer service while identifying opportunities to upsell additional services or system improvements Install, maintain, and repair a variety of HVAC equipment, including: Rooftop packaged units Gas/electric and heat pump split systems Ductwork and mini-splits Economizers and wall heaters VRV/VRF systems Boilers Perform routine maintenance, warranty work, and emergency repairs as needed Educate customers on proper HVAC system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency Accurately document work performed, recommendations, and estimates Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations Work independently and as part of a team in residential, commercial, and varying jobsite conditions

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of hands on HVAC service and installation experience Proven experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems Experience performing full system replacements, repairs, and change outs Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience writing estimates and discussing repair/replacement options with customers Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable identifying and recommending additional services or upgrades when appropriate EPA Certification required Valid California driver's license Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and physical exam Self-motivated, dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to work safely and respectfully in customers' homes and businesses Additional HVAC certifications are a plus If you are an experienced HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, provides excellent customer service, and is comfortable with both technical work and sales opportunities, we would like to hear from you.
