QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be graduation from an accredited vocational trade school or completion of an electrical or HVAC apprenticeship program, and three years of journey-level experience in HVAC repair and maintenance; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.Licenses, Certificates and Other Requirements:
- A valid California driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District's vehicle insurance program is required.
- Current EPA Refrigeration Certificate (EPA Title 6, Section 608).
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Type II Certification for handling Freon 22 (R22).
- Passing of physical required, if hired.
