This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with all safety and construction regulations. Your expertise in construction management software and heavy equipment will drive project success from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise HVAC installation crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software. Review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to interpret project requirements accurately. Manage daily site activities, including supervising crew performance, managing materials logistics, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards and federal safety regulations. Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work for compliance with design intent and industry standards; utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary. Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, change orders, contracts, and safety reports using construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam. Enforce construction safety management practices across the site; conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all team members follow OSHA guidelines. Manage project budgets by tracking labor hours, material costs, and equipment usage; collaborate with management on cost control initiatives. Review construction drawings regularly to ensure proper interpretation of technical details; supervise the review process for accuracy before installation begins. Supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials such as pipelines, HVAC units, and related components; coordinate construction schedule activities accordingly. Requirements Proven experience managing commercial HVAC installation projects within the construction industry; strong background in heavy commercial or industrial settings preferred. Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid or equivalent tools. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately. Strong understanding of construction scheduling techniques; experience managing project timelines using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools. Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively on-site. Excellent crew management skills with proven supervisory experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail; adept at managing budgets and controlling costs. Ability to communicate clearly with management teams, clients, subcontractors, and field personnel; strong managerial communication skills required. Valid knowledge of electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; experience interpreting technical electrical diagrams is a plus. Construction site experience with a focus on HVAC systems installation; knowledge of blueprint reading and construction drawing review essential.
