Competitive hourly pay based on experience About Us We are a growing commercial and industrial general contracting company providing HVAC, mechanical, electrical, piping, and facility services for manufacturing plants, food processing facilities, warehouses, and commercial buildings throughout Southern California. Our projects range from HVAC service and preventative maintenance to rooftop unit replacements, equipment installations, production facility upgrades, tenant improvements, and mechanical system renovations. We are seeking experienced Journeyman Commercial / Industrial HVAC Technicians who take pride in delivering quality workmanship, maintaining high safety standards, and providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems Install, replace, and commission rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, make-up air units, exhaust systems, and ventilation equipment Perform preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled service Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control system issues Install and replace compressors, motors, bearings, belts, fans, filters, dampers, coils, valves, and associated HVAC components Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and equipment specifications Install refrigerant piping, condensate drains, ductwork modifications, and mechanical supports as required Perform system startups, testing, balancing, and commissioning Maintain accurate service reports and documentation Coordinate with electricians, welders, pipefitters, plumbers, and project managers on commercial projects Follow OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and all company safety policies Typical Projects Our technicians work in environments including: Food manufacturing facilities Ramen and food processing plants Commercial warehouses Distribution centers Industrial manufacturing facilities Packaging plants Cold storage facilities Commercial office buildings Mechanical equipment rooms Tenant improvement projects Facility renovations and expansions Preventative maintenance and emergency service calls Preferred Experience We are looking for technicians with experience in: Commercial HVAC service and installation Industrial HVAC systems Rooftop Units (RTUs) Package units Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Chilled water systems Hydronic systems Boilers Air handlers (AHUs) Exhaust and ventilation systems Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems Building Automation Systems (BAS) Refrigeration systems HVAC controls Mechanical troubleshooting Equipment replacement and commissioning Qualifications Journeyman-level HVAC experience (5+ years preferred) Strong background in commercial and/or industrial HVAC systems Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring schematics Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical troubleshooting, airflow, and HVAC diagnostics Familiarity with California Mechanical Code and applicable regulations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on rooftops, ladders, lifts, and mechanical rooms Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills Reliable, safety-focused, and self-motivated What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable year-round commercial work Diverse commercial and industrial projects Opportunities to work on large manufacturing facilities and industrial mechanical systems Career advancement into Lead Technician, Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Management Professional, team-oriented work environment Ideal Candidate We're looking for experienced HVAC professionals who enjoy solving complex mechanical problems and working in commercial and industrial environments.
