This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, with primarily residential settings, ensuring optimal comfort and air quality for our clients. As an HVAC Installer Technician, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and technical skills to deliver top-tier service while fostering positive customer relationships. Your hands-on approach and attention to detail will drive success in every installation. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise system setup. Perform system upgrades with a focus on mechanical systems and electrical diagnostics. Use hand tools, electrical meters such as ohmmeters, and other equipment to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct equipment troubleshooting to identify faults in HVAC/R systems and implement effective solutions promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure proper installation of new HVAC systems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance procedures, and addressing client concerns professionally. Requirements Proven experience or prior service technician experience in HVAC or related mechanical fields. Strong understanding of HVAC design principles. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC system installation. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting equipment such as ohmmeters. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R are preferred. Experience with equipment troubleshooting, mechanical systems repair, air conditioning units, and electrical diagnostics is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward client satisfaction. Valid van driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to travel between job sites as needed.
