We specialize in commercial HVAC service, retrofit, tenant improvement, controls integration, and equipment replacement projects throughout Santa Clara County and surrounding areas. We are looking for a skilled HVAC Installer who can work independently, take ownership of projects, and produce high-quality work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Install commercial rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, and VRF equipment Install refrigerant piping, condensate piping, and equipment supports Install and modify ductwork systems Read and interpret plans, specifications, and submittals Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and customers Perform startup assistance and commissioning support Maintain a clean and safe jobsite Complete project documentation and daily reports Qualifications 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience preferred EPA Universal Certification Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings Experience with RTUs, split systems, mini-splits, and VRF systems Experience with sheet metal installation and fabrication preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on rooftops, ladders, and lifts Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Professional appearance and communication skills Preferred Experience Daikin VRV/VRF Mitsubishi City Multi Carrier and Bryant commercial equipment Commercial tenant improvement projects Prevailing wage projects Basic controls and startup experience Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $40-$70/hr DOE Company vehicle for qualified candidates Company fuel card Paid holidays Paid vacation Ongoing training and certification opportunities Advancement opportunities into Lead Installer and Foreman positions Why Join Golden Gate Mechanical?
