Startup HVAC Company Position Overview We're a growing startup HVAC company looking to bring on an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to support service calls in Santa Monica and Simi Valley. This role is best suited for a technician who is confident working independently, has strong diagnostic skills, and has experience servicing high‑value residential homes. Technicians will use their own vehicle and tools, travel between service calls, and represent the company professionally in upscale residential environments. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems Work on multiple HVAC brands and system types Perform service calls in high‑end residential homes Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners Document work performed and recommend repairs or replacements when needed Maintain safe work practices and clean job sites Travel between service areas using personal vehicle Required Qualifications 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience Proven experience working in high‑value / luxury homes Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience servicing multiple HVAC models and manufacturers Ability to work independently without daily supervision Must supply own service vehicle and HVAC tools Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Professional demeanor and strong customer communication skills Ability to start as early as next week Nice to Have EPA Certification Experience working in startup or small‑company environments Strong preventative maintenance knowledge Work Environment Residential service calls across Santa Monica and Simi Valley Fast‑paced startup environment with room to grow Independent route‑based work High customer service standards due to residential clientele Why Work With Us Join a startup company with growth opportunities Be part of building processes and culture from the ground up Competitive pay (based on experience) Consistent service work in desirable areas Opportunity for long‑term stability as the company scales Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Santa Monica, CA.
