In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure that systems operate smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the comfort and safety of residential, commercial, or industrial spaces. Duties Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation components according to schematics and HVAC design plans. Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform maintenance tasks on existing HVAC/R systems, including repairs to equipment like appliances, plumbing fixtures, and refrigeration units. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC system diagrams to accurately assemble and install complex systems. Utilize welding techniques and mechanical skills for equipment repair or modification when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety standards during installation and service procedures while maintaining a clean work environment. Drive company vehicles responsibly to job sites as a qualified driver; deliver parts or equipment when required. Skills Strong construction background with experience in property maintenance or building projects. Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R systems or appliance repair. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical systems integration. Familiarity with plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boiler operation, and welding techniques. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Field service experience demonstrating the ability to work independently in various environments. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver preferred.
