HVAC TECHNICIAN LL
Four Diamond Service Agreement All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to customer service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort Casino.JOB SUMMARY
The HVAC Technician II is responsible for the Preventative and Corrective maintenance of all Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment throughout the facility in accordance with the standards of Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC).JOB FUNCTIONS
Key Responsibilities- Provides preventative and corrective maintenance and repair and proper record keeping of all HVAC equipment, to include: Air Handlers, Exhaust Fans, Smoke Dampers, Outside Dampers, Variable Air Volume Boxes, Variable Frequency Drives, and equipment electrical systems.
- Monitors and adjusts all system parameters by the use of a Direct Digital Control (DDC) control system. Must have the ability to navigate through a computerized controls system and understand the appropriate use of Analog and Digital inputs and outputs.
- Performs maintenance and repair to include filter changes, belt changes, pulley alignment, Hydronic Heating and Cooling units, compressor changes, controls, cleaning and sanitizing of condenser/evaporator coils and air handler compartments, bearing replacements, coil cleaning, damper replacement, valve replacement, and condensate leaks.
- Ability to procure, maintain, and inventory an extensive spare parts and equipment stock.
- Ability to respond to a smoke control incident and procure an immediate impairment plan for the zone or zones affected.
- Performs installations of new Package Air Conditioning Units, Compressors, Exhaust Fans, VAV boxes, VFD's, Ductwork, Insulation, Control System controllers, Fire Dampers, and Make up Air Units, Fan Coils, Mini Splits, Air Curtains.
- Operates and installs components of a DDC Building Management System. This includes the running of communication circuits, install controllers, start up, and commissioning of entire system.
- Responsible for the downloading and uploading of programs of the Building Management Systems and the use of a laptop to local control and actuate specific components of the HVAC systems.
- Willingness to work in various work environments (hot and cold rooftops).

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
The position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization is required as well.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
The position requires the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. The position also requires the ability to concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITY
The position requires the ability to common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. The position also requires the ability to work with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.- Must have computerized building management system experience; (BMS) Metasys preferred
- Good organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
Advanced Troubleshooting Skills:
Diagnosing complex electrical, mechanical, and control system failures- Proficient with Microsoft based programs
- Proficient with BACNET and TCP/IP network systems and the use of different programming languages
- Proficient with system load calculations, Btu, tonnage and/or cfms
- Ability to work under stressful situations
- Mentally strong and able to cope with challenges with a Team Player attitude at all times
