https://cloudcomforthvac.com/ Position Overview As an HVAC Service & Repair Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, maintain, and install HVAC systems for Cloud Comfort HVAC customers. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, identifying system issues, presenting repair and replacement options, and ensuring every customer receives a professional and efficient experience. This is a hands-on role with room for advancement, ongoing training, and the opportunity to work with innovative HVAC technologies. Key Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose HVAC systems, including refrigeration units, air conditioning compressors, forced-air converter units, and related equipment Install, modify, and set up HVAC equipment such as refrigeration units, chillers, water cooling towers, and forced-air systems Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including gas and electric boilers Complete skilled electrical work, including repairing, installing, and modifying HVAC components, motors, wiring systems, control panels, and timers Repair or replace faulty parts such as thermostats, fan controls, relays, filters, heat exchangers, compressors, valves, and gaskets Test and monitor boiler operations, check pressure gauges, and perform water quality tests Adjust and repair boiler burners and combustion systems as needed Install and calibrate heating and air-conditioning systems, including copper tubing and refrigerant lines Test joints and insulate piping for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems Use specialized tools and equipment such as welding torches, vacuum pumps, and diagnostic testing equipment Maintain accurate records of time, labor, materials, and job details Respond to after-hours service calls and emergency repair requests when required Provide efficient, high-quality service while ensuring customer needs are met Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and management Present service, repair, and replacement options to customers professionally Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience in a residential or commercial setting Proven ability to diagnose, repair, and install HVAC systems Strong knowledge of standard HVAC and refrigeration practices Understanding of air compressors, boilers, pneumatic controls, cooling tower systems, and boiler water treatment systems EPA Certification preferred Additional relevant licenses or certifications are a plus Ability to perform skilled mechanical work, including inspecting, repairing, and modifying HVAC systems and components Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering equipment Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve mechanical and electrical issues independently Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and team members Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to work independently with minimal supervision and also contribute to a team environment Customer-first mindset and ability to remain professional under pressure Strong understanding of HVAC safety regulations, health requirements, and safety codes Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Compensation and Benefits Full-time position Competitive hourly pay of $30.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience Commission opportunities Paid time off Comprehensive benefits Bonus opportunities Ongoing professional development and leadership training Dynamic, fast-paced, and team-oriented work environment Company vehicle Full uniform service Ready to Take the Next Step?
