HVAC/Maintenance Technician This Long term HVAC-focused position  You will work on-site performing physically demanding tasks, troubleshooting equipment, and following all safety and PPE requirements to help complete the project efficiently and to a high standard. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance tasks, including equipment checks, basic repairs, and facility upkeep. Inspect, troubleshoot, and service HVAC systems, including filters, belts, motors, and duct components. Assist with installation, adjustment, or replacement of HVAC units or related components as directed. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete daily tasks. Lift, move, and position materials, tools, and equipment as needed, including heavy lifting throughout the shift. Follow directions from site leads and work collaboratively with other technicians to meet project timelines. Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the project. Demonstrate reliability by arriving on time for a 6:30 a.m. start and being prepared to work the full shift. Represent the staffing organization professionally through safe work practices, respectful communication, and a strong work ethic. Essential Skills Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, repair, or installation. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common HVAC issues. Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, gauges, and meters. Proficiency in using power tools commonly used in maintenance work, such as drills, saws, and impact tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, equipment, and building systems. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing all required PPE. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in commercial or industrial maintenance environments. Experience in electrical, plumbing, or general building maintenance. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnostics and quality workmanship. Reliable transportation to arrive for a 6:30 a.m. start time, Monday through Friday . Work Environment This role is based on an active mobile-site environment operating Monday through Friday with a 6:30 a.m. start time . The work is physically demanding and involves standing, bending, climbing, and lifting throughout the shift. The site uses standard HVAC and maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and power tools. Steel-toe boots are required , and all other PPE will be provided on-site. The environment is fast-paced, safety-focused, and team-oriented, with expectations for punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to maintenance and safety standards.
