Experienced HVAC Service Technician

McGee Refrigeration is a growing family owned business seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC and refrigeration service technician with 5+ years of experience. We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated individual with excellent communication skills and overall knowledge of the industry. HVAC Technician Duties and Responsibilities Travel to homes and businesses on a daily basis as scheduled Determine customer needs and discuss all solution methods Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues Repair damaged HVAC systems Sell maintenance agreements to customers Complete daily work orders and invoices Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and

Technician Requirements and Qualifications 5+ years HVAC experience Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required Previous on the job training a plus Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand Attention to detail and time management skills Critical-thinker, problem-solver Ability to meet physical demands of the job - working in summer heat, winter cold, and lifting heavy objects Must hold state driver's license Must be punctual and reliable to adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations
