Technicians may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical equipment, elevated noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, chemicals, and varying temperatures. Work may also be performed in confined areas near baggage conveyor systems.

$40.71/hour 6-Month Contract | Potential Contract-to-Hire Full-Time | 40 Hours/WeekKEEP CRITICAL AIRPORT SYSTEMS RUNNING
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support facility and equipment operations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing HVAC systems along with associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment. The role is well suited for an experienced commercial HVAC professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment and performing maintenance work directly on the airport ramp/tarmac. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.WHAT YOU'LL DO

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of commercial HVAC, electrical maintenance, or repair experienceHands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC and mechanical systemsValid driver's licenseAbility to obtain and maintain required airport security clearance/badgingAbility to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidaysAbility to safely lift and move up to 50 poundsComfortable working outdoors and in active airport ramp/tarmac environmentsAbility to climb ladders and work in confined or limited-access spacesPreferred Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experiencePrevious airport, aviation, commercial facility, or industrial maintenance experienceExperience with Johnson Controls systemsStrong ability to read blueprints and electrical schematicsExperience with brazing, soldering, welding, and pipefittingBasic computer skills and familiarity with common software applicationsWORK ENVIRONMENT
