The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, with the ability to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in the field. A Lead Residential HVAC Installer supervises the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with codes and company standards. Key responsibilities include leading installation teams, performing installations, troubleshooting, performing system startups, and mentoring junior technicians. The role demands strong technical expertise, excellent customer service, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage projects efficiently and deliver high-quality service. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics. Perform maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC units, ensuring optimal performance. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during installations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns regarding their HVAC systems. Experience Proven experience in HVAC installation or related fields such as construction or property maintenance. Familiarity with HVAC design principles, refrigeration processes, and plumbing systems. Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems. Experience as a service technician or field service technician is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge, including equipment repair skills and appliance repair experience. Ability to operate tools such as an ohmmeter and perform welding tasks when necessary. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Previous experience working with boilers or air conditioning units is beneficial.
