HVAC Service Technician

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install and maintain HVAC systems in commercial settings. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. Repair or replace defective components using tools such as an ohmmeter and brazing equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all work activities. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and repairs needed. Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment. Collaborate with other technicians to build and maintain efficient HVAC systems. Qualifications Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair. Knowledge of hydronics/boiler systems is a must. Proficiency in appliance repair and mechanical skills is essential. Ability to plumb systems as required for installations or repairs. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Familiarity with industry tools including but not limited to ohmmeters and welding equipment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
