Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Service / Warranty Tech to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and system reliability. Your expertise will help uphold our reputation for quality service and technical excellence. Duties Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and mechanical systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on electrical systems within HVAC units. Utilize hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical or electrical faults. Install new HVAC equipment and perform system upgrades in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during service visits. Maintain detailed service records, warranty documentation, and reports for each job performed. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair and maintenance. Construction experience or property maintenance background is highly desirable. Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation systems. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans accurately. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems such as boilers or pumps. Familiarity with electrical diagnostics tools including ohmmeters and multimeters. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. EPA certification for refrigerant handling required or obtainable upon hire. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
