Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Service Technician, where your expertise will drive the maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, troubleshoot complex equipment, and deliver exceptional service to clients. Your mechanical knowledge and field service experience will be essential in ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and appliances using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Install new HVAC systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings following HVAC design specifications. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, such as refrigerant lines or water connections. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute repairs or installations. Maintain detailed service records, complete reports on work performed, and communicate findings clearly with clients. Skills Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration). Mechanical knowledge of HVAC components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and valves. Familiarity with construction practices and property maintenance standards. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings for complex systems. Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC design principles is a plus. Skilled in appliance repair, boiler operation, welding techniques, and equipment repair. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred.
