The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in field service, specifically in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and commercial refrigeration systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and is committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioning units, and ventilation and pump systems. Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment including ice machines, walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in coolers and freezers and under-counter units. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVACR equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize tools such as a multimeter for diagnosing electrical issues within HVAC systems. Perform equipment repairs related to heating, cooling and refrigeration systems as needed. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVACR-related concerns in residential or commercial properties. Repair or replace faulty components including compressors, fans, motors and electrical wiring. Conduct refrigerant recharge procedures while adhering to EPA regulations regarding refrigerant handling. Document all service calls and repairs accurately in the company's database. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVACR needs. Requirements Experience in HVAC and Refrigeration is preferred but still would consider a technician with HVAC-only or refrigeration-only experience. EPA Universal Certification Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various HVACR systems. Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC installations. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, brazing equipment, and testing instruments such as ohmmeters. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks. A valid driver's license is required for traveling between job sites. Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
