Commercial HVAC Service Technician Location:
Northern Colorado Pay:
$30-$50 per hour, depending on experience

Full-Time About the Position We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team serving customers throughout Northern Colorado. The ideal candidate is a skilled HVAC professional who can independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial heating and cooling systems. This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, customer service, and solving complex mechanical problems. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems . Service rooftop units, package units, split systems, heat pumps, boilers, chillers, and other commercial equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related issues. Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential equipment failures. Complete system start-ups, inspections, repairs, and equipment replacements. Accurately document service calls, repairs, materials, and recommendations. Communicate professionally with customers, building owners, facility managers, and contractors. Identify opportunities for system improvements and additional repair work. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow company safety procedures and applicable codes and regulations. Respond to service calls throughout Northern Colorado as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred. Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components. Experience reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical plans. Knowledge of HVAC controls and building automation systems is a plus. EPA 608 certification required. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Preferred Experience Experience with:
Commercial rooftop units VRF/VRV systems Chillers and boilers Heat pumps Refrigeration systems VAV and air-handling systems Building automation and HVAC controls Preventative maintenance programs Commercial electrical troubleshooting Compensation $30-$50 per hour , depending on experience, technical ability, certifications, and qualifications. Experienced technicians with strong commercial troubleshooting skills are encouraged to apply.
