Job Description
Hometown Heating , a division of Santoro Oil , is seeking a Lead Propane Installer to join our growing team. Our mission is to deliver comfort, safety, and energy efficiency to every customer and we do that through our talented team. Key Responsibilities Install and connect propane-powered HVAC systems, furnaces, boilers, generators, fireplaces, and appliances Install propane tanks, gas lines, regulators, and related propane equipment Perform gas pressure testing, leak detection, and system inspections Lead and supervise installation crews on job sites Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal safety codes Coordinate with HVAC technicians, project managers, and customers Train and mentor junior installers and helpers Maintain tools, vehicles, and inventory Complete service reports and installation documentation Respond to troubleshooting and emergency service calls as needed Qualifications 3-5+ years of propane, gas piping, or HVAC installation experience Prior leadership or crew supervision experience preferred Knowledge of propane systems, HVAC equipment, and gas codes Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying conditions CT "G" or "S" license, required What we offer: Competitive salary Sign on Bonus Great benefits 401(k) & annual match Annual boot stipend A supportive and dynamic work environment Company-provided van, tablet, uniforms, and tools Ongoing training and advancement opportunities Stable year-round work with a reputable company Thank you for your interest in Hometown Heating!
