In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across various properties, ensuring optimal indoor air quality and climate control. Your expertise will help create comfortable, safe environments for occupants while supporting property operations through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting. This paid position offers the opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service experience in a fast-paced, energetic setting dedicated to excellence. Duties Install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems in commercial and residential properties. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, Perform routine maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment including boilers, furnaces, air handlers , condensers , heat pumps , ductless units other residential hvac needs Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and diagnostic equipment to identify faults quickly. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems including pipe repairs, fittings, and drainage issues. braze parts as needed for equipment repair or system modifications. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for compliance and future reference. Operate a driver license to transport tools or equipment between sites as required. Ensure safety standards are met during all maintenance activities by adhering to OSHA regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment. Skills Extensive experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or repair. Proven service technician experience with field service operations in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration). Strong understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design principles. Mechanical knowledge encompassing appliances repair, boiler systems, welding techniques, and property maintenance tasks. Ability to read electrical diagrams and use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters effectively. Skilled in equipment repair including compressors, fans, pumps, valves, and control systems. Experience with plumbing related to HVAC systems including pipe fitting and drainage solutions. Knowledge of safety protocols related to refrigerants such as ammonia and other hazardous materials. Capable of performing maintenance tasks on diverse HVAC equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
