Job Description
Job Summary:
The Radisson Resort in Cape Canaveral, FL. is seeking a highly skilled HVAC / Commercial Refrigeration Technician and also a Facilities Maintenance Technician with Plumbing & Electrical experience to join our team. The positions are on property in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach areas and does not require travel outside of these areas but does require a valid drivers licence. The ideal HVAC candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Commercial Refrigeration experience is a plus.Types of systems in use:
Split Systems, PTAC, Water Source Heat Pumps, VRF, 100% Fresh Air Make Up. The ideal Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for facilities maintenance and upkeep including light plumbing and electrical repairs/replacements of sinks, faucets, toilets, light fixtures, switches outlets etc. We are a hospitality company owning several hotels, retail shop and restaurants in the cities of Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. Candidates must be professional and well groomed as work will be performed during operating hours of establishments.HVAC Tech Responsibilities:
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and provide solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Weld, braze, solder, and connect piping
- Test electrical circuits with multi-meter
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Requirements:
- EPA (Type II or Universal) Certification
- Proven experience as a HVAC Technician.
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to build or plumb HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficient in using tools such as multi-meters for troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately
