Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Mechanic to install sheet metal ductwork, insulate ductwork. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to troubleshoot a wide range of HVAC equipment in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units (RTUs), air handlers, Mini Splits and VAV systems Must be able to travel long distances, able to work Days AND/OR Night Travel and overnight stays could potentially lead to more money. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Test system performance using specialized tools and adjust as needed Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal safety regulations Handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA guidelines Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues and recommended solutions

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical school or HVAC certification preferred) 2+ years of HVAC experience (or apprenticeship completion) EPA Section 608 Certification a plus Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigeration cycles Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and able to work alone or on a small 2 man team

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds Comfortable working in confined spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods

Work Environment:
