Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system efficiency while providing outstanding customer service. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing components. Perform repairs on HVAC equipment such as air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and building automation systems. Install new HVAC systems following schematics and HVAC design specifications. Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably. Use hand tools, electrical diagnostics tools like ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other specialized tools for equipment repair. Interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during every interaction. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in a related field such as construction or property maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair and installation. Familiarity with schematics, building automation systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration processes. Ability to perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems. Experience with equipment troubleshooting including boilers, ammonia refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical systems repair. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R are a plus. Skilled in using hand tools, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other field service tools. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred.
