High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment preferred. Basic math and measuring skills. Ability to accurately use calipers and micrometers. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused work habits. Good communication skills with coworkers and leadership. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for extended periods. Must be able to read and write simple statements. Sound judgment and decision-making skills. Experience working with steel microfibers is preferred.
Job Duties:
Safely perform production tasks while maintaining the highest quality standards. Process media on Fiber/Web equipment. Cross-train and operate multiple production equipment as needed to meet production schedules. Work with hazardous chemicals safely. Prepare and maintain accurate production records, logs, and engineering data. Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and wear required PPE. Comply with all quality policies and procedures. Perform other assigned production-related duties.
