This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art tools and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety of vehicles and machinery used in demanding environments. Your expertise will keep our fleet running smoothly, supporting operations that require precision, mechanical skill, and a proactive approach. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems on trucks, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery using schematics and technical manuals. Perform comprehensive maintenance tasks including refrigerant charging, system inspections, and component replacements to ensure reliable climate control. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to modify or fabricate parts as needed for HVAC repairs or customizations. Conduct heavy lifting and mechanical work involving diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts, hydraulics, and electrical systems to restore full functionality. Inspect and service related vehicle systems such as brakes (including air brake systems), alignments, tires, and wheel assemblies to maintain safety standards. Read and interpret schematics for electrical wiring, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical assemblies to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed on various equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, farm machinery, and other industrial assets. Skills Proven experience working with dealership or industrial equipment repair environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, transmission repairs, HVAC systems, and diesel engine troubleshooting. Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding, soldering, and assembling custom parts or modifications. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and farm machinery. Ability to read schematics accurately for electrical wiring, hydraulics, suspension systems, and HVAC components. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, service tech equipment, and maintenance procedures for vehicle repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and maintenance needs. Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of quality in all tasks performed.
