Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Senior Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the maintenance, repair, and installation of complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and mechanical systems across diverse commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. As a senior technician, you will also mentor junior team members, troubleshoot advanced issues, and collaborate with clients to deliver top-tier service. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals Perform HVAC system installation and upgrades in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards Conduct electrical diagnostics on HVAC equipment, utilizing tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults in electrical systems Troubleshoot plumbing and mechanical components within HVAC systems to ensure seamless operation Maintain building automation systems (BAS) and electrical systems to optimize system performance and energy efficiency Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and preventative inspections to prolong equipment lifespan Lead complex repairs involving refrigeration, appliances, or HVAC system components while ensuring compliance with EPA regulations Use hand tools and specialized equipment for precise repairs and installations while adhering to safety protocols Document all service activities thoroughly in work orders and reports for quality assurance and future reference Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding building infrastructure integration Extensive knowledge of schematics, mechanical systems repair, HVAC design principles, and building automation systems Skilled in electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters; familiarity with electrical systems within HVAC is essential Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, boilers, chillers, air conditioning units, and cooling towers. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment troubleshooting and equipment repair techniques Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately for precise diagnostics and repairs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver certification preferred for travel between job sites Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing devices, and equipment repair tools necessary for daily tasks Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients Minimum 7-10 Years of Mechanical experience Join us as an HVAC Senior Service Technician where your expertise drives excellence in building comfort!
