Commercial HVAC Installer

Responsibilities Install, assemble, and connect commercial HVAC systems according to schematics, blueprints, and design specifications Read and interpret HVAC schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams to ensure precise installation Perform system testing and commissioning to verify proper operation of air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical components Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC equipment including boilers, refrigeration units, and appliances Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or modify systems as needed Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety standards Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, service reports, and system performance logs Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC installation or service technician roles Hands-on experience working with schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, boiler operation, appliance repair, and property maintenance Field service experience involving equipment repair, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting complex systems Familiarity with using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conducting welding or mechanical repairs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred Additional skills in welding, boiler operation, or mechanic work are advantageous This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in commercial HVAC solutions.
