Currently looking for an experienced HVAC Residential and Light Commercial installer.
JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a professional who installs heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, ductwork, both residential and light commercial, and new construction.
JOB DUTIES
Installing various HVAC components such as furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, and duct systems (both sheet metal and flex duct) Connecting low and line voltage wiring to heating and cooling equipment Understanding of HVAC principles, ability to use hand and power tools, and knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems. Adhering to strict safety protocols when working with power tools, in confined spaces, at heights, and with electrical components Consistently maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job HVAC installers need to be physically fit, as they may need to lift heavy equipment, work in tight spaces, and work in various environmental conditions Communicating with clients to explain the work being done and answer questions Completing necessary documentation, including work orders, installation checklist, material requests, and reports on system performance Installing and modifying duct systems for efficient airflow Maintains the company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Must have prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in the HVAC industry (3-5 years) NATE certification preferred Must display strong communication skills and technical competence Clean driving record
