Job Description

Description:
ECS is seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Sheetmetal Journeyman to join our team. Responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining sheet metal components for HVAC systems. This includes reading blueprints, cutting and shaping sheet metal, installing ductwork, and ensuring proper system operation. The position requires advanced knowledge of HVAC systems and sheet metal work, with a focus on quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate, install, and maintain sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Perform system installations, inspections, and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects.

Requirements:
5+ years of HVAC sheet metal experience. Journeyman certification in HVAC or sheet metal work. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and airflow principles. Proficiency in using sheet metal tools and equipment. Ability to work in various environments, including high spaces. Good physical stamina and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively. Experience with rigging and hoisting equipment for heavy components. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed. OSHA 10 or the ability to obtain within 90 days. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
