In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of HVAC/R equipment across various commercial and industrial settings. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation systems using schematics and technical manuals Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on HVAC equipment including boilers, air conditioning units, ammonia refrigeration systems, and mechanical systems Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately identify issues and implement solutions Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to ensure system integrity and safety Repair or replace mechanical components such as motors, compressors, valves, welders, and other equipment to restore optimal operation Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for each job performed Ensure compliance with EPA regulations related to refrigerants and other environmental standards while handling refrigerant recovery or charging procedures Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in mechanical systems repair and field service operations Construction experience or familiarity with building systems integration is highly desirable Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics reading, and building automation systems (BAS) is essential Skilled in plumbing, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boiler operation, and appliance repair Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications such as HVAC/R licenses are a plus Experience with welding techniques and equipment repair is advantageous Mechanical knowledge across various systems including property maintenance, air conditioning units, pumps, valves, and mechanical system troubleshooting A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary for field service travel Join us in delivering top-tier HVAC solutions by leveraging your technical expertise!
