About the Role As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll travel to residential customer locations to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service heating and cooling systems. You'll deliver exceptional customer experiences while helping homeowners understand the condition of their equipment and available options for improving comfort and efficiency. In addition to performing quality HVAC service, you'll have opportunities to generate additional business by identifying customer needs and recommending system replacements, upgrades, maintenance plans, and indoor air quality solutions when appropriate. What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems. Perform preventive maintenance and complete system inspections. Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide effective repair solutions. Evaluate existing HVAC systems and discuss homeowner comfort goals. Educate customers on equipment condition, energy efficiency, maintenance, and available solutions. Recommend system upgrades, equipment replacements, maintenance agreements, and indoor air quality products when appropriate.
