About the Role As a Residential HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as a primary expert in maintaining home comfort by diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing heating and cooling systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring our clients enjoy reliable indoor climate control while upholding the highest standards of technical excellence and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and repairs on residential HVAC/R systems to restore peak efficiency. Execute routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning air handling units, inspecting ductwork, and clearing condensation drainage systems. Provide homeowners with expert technical recommendations and clear explanations of system health to empower informed decision-making. Maintain precise documentation of all service activities, parts usage, and system adjustments to ensure long-term equipment reliability. Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in diverse residential environments. Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards while navigating challenging workspaces such as attics and crawlspaces. Qualifications Required Skills 2-5+ years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service and maintenance. Current EPA Certification. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least three years. Proven ability to lift up to 50-100 lbs and perform physical tasks in confined spaces. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for effective system troubleshooting. Preferred Skills Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service experiences. Experience with modern HVAC/R diagnostic tools and software. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving industry best practices. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on professional communication at all levels.
