• Walmart is seeking a Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration, to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems across commercial and industrial facilities.

• What you'll do:
• + Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including ductwork, control panels, and refrigeration units.

+ Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues to ensure optimal system performance.

+ Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.

+ Manage refrigerant handling and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and HVAC/R codes.

+ Coordinate and mentor field teams, providing hands-on training and evaluating skill development.

+ Maintain parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service schedules to meet business priorities.

+ Participate in on-call rotation to support critical operational needs outside regular hours.

• What you'll bring:
• + Proven experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including refrigeration units and building pneumatics.

+ Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant systems in commercial and industrial settings.

+ Knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA refrigerant handling protocols, and compliance with federal, state, and local HVAC/R codes.

+ Ability to lead and mentor field teams, providing hands-on training and evaluating technician performance.

+ Proficiency in managing parts inventory, vendor relationships, and coordinating service calls to meet business priorities.

• The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. • Minimum Qualifications...

If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications._ Option 1: 3 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration. Option 2: 6 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Hold and maintain Type I and Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling. Where required, HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman. 1 year's experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area or 2 years' Walmart store experience. Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report. Commercial driving record with no convictions for

DUI, DWI, OUI

within the last five (5) years. Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years. No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
