In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across various facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a comfortable, safe, and efficient environment for building occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional maintenance services. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, ventilation fans, and building automation systems. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Install new HVAC equipment and systems in compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Diagnose electrical problems within HVAC systems and perform electrical repairs to ensure system reliability. Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems, such as refrigerant lines or condensate drains. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system performance logs. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system issues and repair timelines while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Requirements Proven construction experience combined with service technician expertise in HVAC or related mechanical systems. Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems, and building automation controls. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems repair and maintenance. Knowledge of plumbing systems associated with HVAC equipment and appliance repair skills. Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and multimeters. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC system installation, repair, and mechanical systems repair techniques. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling (EPA 608 Certification). Proficiency with hand tools and equipment necessary for HVAC maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a company van or service vehicle safely.
