Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of ensuring optimal climate control and mechanical performance across various properties. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will help create comfortable environments while supporting property maintenance operations. Responsibilities Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct field service operations on HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, ammonia refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs when necessary. Maintain property by repairing plumbing fixtures, appliances, and ensuring proper operation of mechanical systems. Support HVAC design modifications or upgrades based on project requirements or client specifications. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities and document service reports thoroughly. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair including boilers and appliances. Familiarity with construction processes, schematics reading, HVAC/R systems, and plumbing fundamentals. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform welding or other mechanical repairs confidently. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems or other specialized HVAC/R applications is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving vehicles is advantageous. Additional certifications in HVAC design, refrigeration technology, or boiler operation are highly desirable. $16.00 - $32.00 per hour
