Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install a wide variety of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. You'll work on everything from rooftop units and split systems to boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation controls. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability. Service rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, refrigeration equipment, exhaust systems, and related HVAC equipment. Troubleshoot electrical components, control wiring, motors, contactors, relays, and building automation systems. Install and replace HVAC equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes. Repair refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and other HVAC-related components. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Use diagnostic equipment, including multimeters, gauges, combustion analyzers, and other testing instruments. Complete accurate service reports and communicate findings and recommendations with customers. Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Working knowledge of electrical controls, refrigeration cycles, airflow, and mechanical systems. Experience with rooftop units (RTUs), refrigeration systems, boilers, and commercial HVAC equipment. Familiarity with building automation or controls is a plus. VRF and VFD Additional certifications or licenses are a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record. Ability to lift 50 pounds and safely work on ladders, rooftops, and mechanical rooms. Strong communication skills and a professional attitude. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
