Job Type:
Direct Hire Job Summary We are hiring a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician for a client in Metro Atlanta. This is a field service role covering a wide range of large commercial mechanical systems across multiple manufacturers. (not a maintenance or stationary building engineer position). The ideal candidate is a journeyman-level tech who thrives working independently in the field and can diagnose and service almost anything they encounter. Responsibilities Independently diagnose and service a broad range of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems Service equipment ranging from small rooftop units (5-ton) up to large water-cooled chillers (up to 500-ton) Perform repairs, routine service, and component replacement across multiple manufacturers Dispatch directly from home to job sites throughout Metro Atlanta in a company-provided vehicle Manage daily work autonomously with minimal supervision Maintain a professional, customer-facing demeanor on all job sites Must Haves Journeyman-level commercial HVAC experience Strong understanding of the refrigeration cycle Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose independently Experience servicing equipment from multiple manufacturers Hands-on experience with large rooftop units, chillers, and commercial mechanical systems Valid driver's license and ability to cover Metro Atlanta territory EPA 608 certification Preferred Skills Experience with water-cooled chillers and large-tonnage equipment (250-ton+) Own standard hand tools (specialized equipment provided by client) Background with commercial mechanical contractors or commercial HVAC service companies Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company vehicle provided (take-home) & gas card Tool allowance Side work permitted
