Job Description
River Place Assisted Living & Memory Care community is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technicians to join our Team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning and safety of our community. This includes maintaining equipment, facilities, and premises in top condition. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong background in maintenance, be able to work independently, and have excellent communication skills. Additionally, you should be able to handle emergencies calmly and quickly, prioritize tasks, and follow safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facilities, equipment, and premises
- Diagnose and repair any issues that arise
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
- Complete any necessary documentation
- Qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in senior living or healthcare
- Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle emergencies calmly, and follow safety protocols
