Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician II to join our team, providing expert maintenance, repair, and installation services for a variety of HVAC systems. This role requires a strong mechanical background, proficiency in schematics and HVAC design, and experience with refrigeration. The ideal candidate will possess field service experience and be capable of working independently to ensure optimal system performance across commercial and industrial settings. Duties Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct equipment repair and maintenance tasks using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools. Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and property maintenance projects. Utilize mechanical knowledge to service appliances, perform field service operations, and ensure system efficiency. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, and parts used. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or system failures. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role with a strong background in HVAC/R systems. Familiarity with HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and equipment repair techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, appliances, welding, and general equipment maintenance. Experience working with air conditioning units and boiler systems. Prior field service experience involving troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues. Additional skills such as plumbing, appliance repair, welding, or mechanic experience will be considered advantageous. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise in HVAC systems while contributing to the efficient operation of critical infrastructure.
Pay:
$25.96 - $31.27 per hour
